Volunteer Program
In the Labura district there is a beautiful unprotected rain forest, habitat for innumerable wild animals such as the Sumatran Tiger, the Tapir, the Asian bear, Hornbills ..
Together with a team of local volunteers and the local director of the Hadabuan hill project, we carried out a permaculture activity.
It consists of the creation of a sustainable coffee plantation, fruit trees and certain vegetables. The idea is to educate the new local generations on conservation and sustainable development.
To make all this possible, we would like to buy little by little hectares of forest and make it private, thus preventing palm oil companies from continuing to deforest and at the same time showing a new way of sustenance to the surrounding towns.
