“They organized a 3-day visit to the jungle for us where we could live an incredible and completely wild experience, seeing orangutans and one of the largest existing flowers.
The guides are great and they organized the camps for us to have dinner and sleep each night. It is also a solidarity project so the benefits remain in this small and welcoming community.”

Ethical tourism
It is important to know that when we travel we have to respect the natural environment we visit and the local culture. For this reason we recommend using organic and environmentally friendly hygiene products, using a canteen to eliminate plastic waste, and being aware during trekking that the forest contains inhabitants who must be respected.
When we visit villages or bathe in their rivers it is recommended to always wear clothing that does not disturb the local culture.
In certain places the use of bikinis or very small clothes is not recommended.
Necessary equipment for trekking: small backpack no longer than 5k, canteen, mosquito repellent or other insects, neutral clothing without bright colors, non-slip and comfortable mountain footwear, sandals, clothes to rest at night, towel for bathing in the river, long socks anti-leeches, flashlight, small first aid kit, cap, sunscreen.
Conditions of booking
If you book an activity with us, you must pay in advance at least 1 week.
If you change your mind and end up not doing the activity, you must notify us one week in advance, not two days before. If you have paid for your reservation and change your mind by notifying us one week in advance, your money will be refunded, minus shipping taxes.
If you cancel one day before, your money will not be refunded.
Important materials to bring when trekking. Comfortable, lightweight, long-sleeved clothing for protection, knee-high socks, sandals, and swimwear (shorts and a T-shirt) that doesn't detract from the local culture. Mosquito repellent, a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle with a filter. Biodegradable shower products.
Rules of respect when trekking with us:
It is forbidden to get too close to wildlife, feeding wildlife is prohibited, and please always listen to your guide in the forest to avoid problems.
Respect for wildlife and the forest is as essential as respect for the community you visit and its culture.
