Tiger Green School in Batu Katak

Batu Katak is a village in North Sumatra on the edge of the Gunung Leuser National Park, where we started an environmental education program three years ago, as well as basic education and English. After much effort we managed to maintain classes with students of different ages. What began as something provisional while the pandemic lasted, ended up becoming an education project at the broadest level. And of course, for this we needed a school that would give life to this program.

Thanks to the support of private donors we have achieved it, we have our school. Our education program has expanded to cover an area of 3,000 hectares with various populations. Because for us all change is part of a good education
