During the last few months we have experienced many changes, the changes always start with something negative and transform into something positive. Our program in Sumatra has its ups and downs, but in general we can say that it has many positive things. This year we have done many activities and managed to strengthen our collaborations at the local level

This year we received a donation to continue our educational program in the villages adjacent to the national park.

We also had the pleasure of having the presence of one of our deputy members, our most active volunteer. Thanks to your collaboration we were able to develop a very important part, which is the visibility of our work through your beautiful photos and videos.

Our ecotourism program also took a leap forward with the creation of a new team, a new chapter. Through our program, we train local guides and porters, giving them the opportunity to one day create their own businesses. So, every year, people decide to follow their own path and continue growing individually. This makes us feel grateful, because that is the purpose of learning.

Beyond the conservation and data collection part, it offered us a beautiful gift. Considering our low budget, the installation of cameras and monitoring is the most complicated part of our work, but even so, we managed it.
